This Superview eyepiece has a 42mm focal length and features a 68° apparent field of view. It gives Images that are virtually free of aberration or distortion, at a reasonable price
The 2" format makes viewing very comfortable with a large 'hole to look through'. The wide angle field of view gives great viewing of deep sky objects such as star clusters and nebula.
The full multi-layer coating high quality lenses provide the best-possible sharpness over the field of view. Blackened lens edges reduce light scattering and improve contrast. The eyepiece has rubber eyecups to keep out stray light and two end caps.

Great performance for its price point in an 8" SCT. Sharp across most of the FOV, with only slight softening at the edge.
I've used this on my 8" ASTRONZ Cassegrain and it gives a fairly sharp image across most of the field of view. Being a long focal length telescope at 2436mm I wanted an eyepiece that gives me that little extra field of view when compared to my other 30mm eyepiece.
